Wonton Cups

<< Wonton Cups are ridiculously easy to make and so versatile. They are an attractive vehicle for serving a variety of dishes including many appetizers and desserts. Simple ingredients can be dressed up by serving them in these easy little cups.

Ingredients:

  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable cooking spray
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Spray muffin cups with cooking spray. Place a wonton wrapper into each of the twelve muffin cups, pressing down and to the sides to form a little cup. If desired, you can place a small ball of aluminum foil in each cup to preserve the opening - personally, I find that the wrappers stay opened once placed in the muffin cups. Spray each wrapper with cooking spray or oil mist and try to let corners of wonton wrappers hang over edge of cup, if possible.

On middle oven rack, bake for 5-7 minutes. Keep an eye on these - they cook and then burn very quickly. Take them out once they are golden brown.

Remove the wrappers to a wire rack to cool off completely.

Fill wrappers with filling and serve cold or warmed up.
