Pizza Rolls - No Yeast - Easy Recipe!

<< Pizza Rolls are simple to make - no yeast involved. Feel free to add finely chopped sweet peppers, celery, onions or chopped herbs, as desired. This is an healthy snack recipe that you can make together with your kids - little hands can easily handle these little muffin-shaped treats.


Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. dried basil
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup grated Mozzarella, Cheddar, Monterey Jack or other soft cheese
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease or line 12 regular muffin cups.

Mix the first five dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add milk, oil and egg, stirring only until ingredients are blended. Gently fold in remaining ingredients - batter will be thick. Add a touch more milk, if necessary.

Spoon batter into muffin cups.

Bake for 18-20 minutes - until tops are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into centre of roll comes out clean. Serve warm.
