Cornbread

Cornbread is an easy recipe that makes a very tasty, muffin-like cake. A delicious snack or addition
to your breakfast.
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ cup oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1½ cups flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1½ cups cornmeal
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup blueberries, or other berries that you like
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a square cake pan.
Blend sugar and oil. Mix in eggs. Blend dry ingredients and put into creamed mixture, alternating with
milk. Pour into prepared pans and bake for 30 minutes. Cake should be firm in centre. Delicious warm.
