Cabbage Salad with Terra Stix

<< Cabbage Salad is a crunchy, nutritious salad made with shredded cabbage combined with yummy Terra Stix and a light vinaigrette dressing. A favorite recipe of the Suissa family from Hebrew Academy in Montreal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag Bodek shredded white cabbage (you can use your favorite brand of shredded cabbage or shred a cabbage yourself)
  • 1 bag Terra Stix (look in the Kosher or health food section of your supermarket where chips are located - these are delicious)
  • 1 bunch of green onions, chopped
  • 1 packet of Good Seasons Italian salad dressing
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar or Splenda
Prepare dressing according to package directions. Add 2 tbsp. of soy sauce and sugar or sugar substitute - shake dressing to mix.

In a large bowl, add cabbage and green onions. Add Terra Stix and toss gently. Dress the salad with the vinaigrette right before serving.

Recipe can be doubled.

Thanks to 'Rave Reviews' and Peggy Lanton of Hebrew Academy, Montreal.
